Consumption Guidelines - How to Plan Your Order quantities
Formulas for ordering suggested order quantities
Most coffee kit brands except premium blends like Green Mountain and Starbucks contain 40-42 pkgs of coffee.
- Divide the number of pots/day by 2 = the number of kits/month you should order.
i.e. if you think your staff will drink 8 pots/day divided by 2 = 4 kits/month
OR
- Number of people on staff divided by 7 = number of kits/month you should order.
i.e. if you have 24 people on staff, divide by 7 means you should order at least 3 kits.

Formulas for ordering Starbucks, Green Mountain and other premium coffees
Because the coffee is stronger and the kits are smaller use this guideline (shortened version) to order:
Order 1 kit/month for each 5 people on staff. I.e. for 14-19 people order 3 kits
Formula for ordering cream, sugar and stir stix
- Order 1-20 oz cream for each kit
- Order 1-24 oz sugar for each kit
- Order 1 box of 1000 stir stix for each 3 kits
Facts
- Each pre-measured package makes 64 oz of coffee, or approximately 1/2 gallon. (can be used for smaller Mr. Coffee style pots; provides fuller body and flavor)
- Freshness is assured for 3-5 months when you order, because each package is nitrogen flushed and hermetically sealed.
- All kits except premium blends like Green Mountain and Starbucks contain 40, 42 or 46 packages.
- Because Starbucks and Green Mountain are fuller bodied, "heavier" cups of coffee, people tend to be satisfied with fewer cups consumed/day.
- Starbuck kits contain 18 pkgs. Green Mountain kits contains 24 packages.
- 1 coffee pkg = 12 - 6 oz cups (cup not filled to the brim)
- 9 - 8 oz cups (cup not filled to the brim)
- 6 - 12 oz cups (cup not filled to the brim)
- Suggested order is once per month. Order the amount of supplies you will need for 1 month to assure freshness. This way you will only need to order 12 times/year.
